This town is getting more and more metal and national rock addicts every day.

 The few bars dedicated to rock, punk, metal and underground in general, can be very satisfied because the guys from this township are devoted clients every weekend, they are huge fans of their favourite groups and they´re always supporting the concerts. There has been, and there are, many big bands that had their beginning in this place, and with them – great musicians.

In the end of the eighties and in the beginning of the nineties, because of the fact that the headquarter of rock was in Torremolinos, Fuengirola did´nt have so many bars. Actually the only popular one was La Cueva.

 But today the situation is different. Now there are some places to go to and even if they aren´t many, they are very good. Also worth mentioning is the incredible knowledge about music that the guys from this township have. And not only the young ones..

  For the visitor Fuengirola is a cosmopolic town. A lot of scandinavian residents have chosen Fuengirola as their second home and you can notice that in the peoples way of living. The town is full of famous restaurants and ideal bars to have tapas or dinner before you go and see a livegig of one of the many local bands or before you go and listen to your favouritsongs in some bar.

  As said, in Fuengirola you´ll never get bored and if you one time would like to do something special we´ll always recommend La Feria de los Pueblos which is an amazing fair with typical food and dances from every corner of the world.
